Spectroelectrochemical cell
The SEC-C and SEC-C05 Thin Layer Quartz Glass cells are renewed.
Now it is frosted and only the optical path area is transparent.
Right: previous SEC-C Thin Layer Quartz Glass cell; Left: new
SEC-C Thin Layer Quartz Glass cell (frosted with a tansparent
window).
Features for the SEC-C Thin Layer Quartz Glass cell (frosted
with a transparent window)
– Reduce the effects of stray light
– Make possible to examine the change of the spectrum in the thin
layer portion
– Resistance to scratch
Comparison of the Spectrum
Absorbance Spectrum was measured for the comparison of both types
of the Thin Layer Quartz Glass cell.

In the comparison of the absorbance spectrum performed in 1 mM
Potassium ferricyanide using SEC-C Thin Layer Quartz Glass cell
(SEC-C) and SEC-C Thin Layer Quartz Glass cell (frosted with a
tansparent window) (SEC-C-a), in which there are no difference
between both quartz glass cell, frosted or not.
